Town Court
Court Hours: the 3rd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
Justices: Robert A. Presutti and Kathleen F. Houston
Assistant District Attorney Marty Anderson handles Geneseo Town Court and is present each court night at 4:30 p.m.
You must contact the court office if a date change is necessary.
Payment is accepted as follows:
CASH, MONEY ORDERS, BANK CERTIFIED CHECKS and MASTERCARD/VISA ARE ACCEPTED. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN US FUNDS!
WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS AND CANNOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS OVER THE PHONE!!!

1st Tuesday: Judge Bradley A. Janson – criminal and DWI cases including ABC charges, village ordinances, etc.
2nd Tuesday: Judge Thomas C. Bushnell – criminal and DWI cases including ABC charges, village ordinances, etc.
3rd Tuesday: Judge Bradley A. Janson – Vehicle & Traffic cases only
4th Tuesday: Judge Thomas C. Bushnell – Vehicle & Traffic cases only
Assistant District Attorney Scott Woodruff handles Geneseo Village Court and is present every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

Pleas and Small Claims
Guilty Pleas - If you wish to plead guilty by mail and no longer have your original ticket, please use the attached form and mail it to the Court at the above address. Please print clearly and include your current mailing address.
Not Guilty Pleas – If you wish to plead not guilty, please fill out the not guilty plea section on your ticket or if you no longer have your original ticket send a letter to the court stating you wish to plead not guilty. We will then schedule you for a conference with the assistant district attorney. Please print clearly and include your current mailing address.
Small Claims – In Small Claims Court individuals can sue for money only, up to $3,000. The claim must be filed in the jurisdiction in which the person lives, works or has a place of business. If your claim is $1,000 or less, the filing fee is $10, if your claim is over $1,000, the fee is $15.00. The filing fee can be paid by credit/debit, money order or cash. The Village Court will not accept personal checks. Application for filing a claim (click here). Please fill out the defendant’s name and address, your name as plaintiff, a brief description of the claim, amount of claim, your signature, address and phone number. After the court receives your claim form and filing fee, you will be notified of the court date.

is on the right one block down from the intersection
From the South:
Take I390 north to Exit 7
Turn right onto Route 63
At the second traffic light, take a left onto Main Street
